Our Sunday School class meets each Sunday morning at 9:45 for study, fellowship and prayer. It is a dynamic and welcoming gathering of adults, where we grow more deeply connected to our Creator and one another. Our sessions include a wide range of topics. They include study of both old and new testament scripture, but a wide range of other topics as well. They include social issues such as caring for others, such as those with Alzheimer’s and terminal illness. We have had presentations on other religions such as Judaism, Buddhism, and Islam. Some lessons have dealt with such difficult topics as civility, ecology, and homosexuality. We have discussed the role of music in our service, and the role that worship plays in our lives. We have had classes on preparing a living will and on listening for God’s Call. No one who attends will tell you that our classes are not lively and interesting. The discussion are probably the best part. We look at it as a enjoyable complement to worship, and we invite you to join us.
